Yield: Approximately 20 servings

1 quart of milk

1 quart sherbet, any flavor

(Flavor of sherbet determines punch color)

1 quart vanilla ice cream

3 cups pineapple juice

2 cups orange juice

3 teaspoons lemon juice

Chill the punch bowl, glasses, and all ingredients thoroughly before mixing. Soften ice cream and sherbet. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and serve immediately.

Use large blocks of ice to keep the punch cold (they melt more slowly than ice cubes). An ice ring of equal parts pineapple juice, orange juice, and water may be used if desired. For a festive touch, make ice rings with chunks of fruit or mint leaves to keep the punch cool.

Serve punch as soon as it is prepared. (A mixed punch that stands in a refrigerator will loose consistency and flavor.)

To store extra punch, put it in the refrigerator. Before serving refrigerated punch, mix it in a blender.
