The workshop "Putting It All Together for a Successful Small Vegetable Farm" will be held on Saturday, April 10, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Tioga County Extension Office in Owego. The workshop features outstanding growers sharing their insights on how to make a small scale vegetable farm work. Grower practices have emerged over the past few years that make a meaningful and satisfying small vegetable operation feasible, based on hard work and good management of farm and markets. Sessions will be oriented toward established vegetable farms.

An extensive handouts packets will be provided. If you are selling produce, you can benefit from this workshop.

Cost is $15 per person ($5 more apiece for additional members of the same farm.) Lunch will be served. Pre-registration is required. Call 687-4020 by April 6. This program is offered by the Cornell Cooperative Extension South Central New York Area Agriculture Program. The Tioga County Extension Office is located at 56 Main Street in Owego.
