Staudt Completes Training

Assistant Chief Robert Staudt successfully completed the Training Officer Workshop-I conducted by the Department of State, Office of Fire Prevention and Control at the New York State Academy of Fire Science.

The widely recognized course is periodically scheduled to assist fire service officers and others responsible for fire training programs in municipal, industrial, and private sector.

The two-day workshop allowed participants to observe instructional techniques and apply principles through practical teaching exercises. Specific areas of study emphasized methods of teaching, visual aid use, lesson plan formulation, scheduling concepts, and preparation of student materials.
