The Christmas season was ushered in with unseasonably warm weather this year. Record high temperatures prompted Village of Owego merchant Maureen of Tender Loving Care to have a sidewalk sale. In Apalachin, Don from Don Davis Meats Charpit & Deli took advantage of the balmy weather to have a Chicken BBQ.

Even though the weather was more like Eastertime, shoppers still had the Christmas spirit as they picked out trees and wreaths from Chase's Tree Farm at the Big Dipper in Apalachin.
