"And the Band Played On" Children's Music Workshop

November 7, Saturday, 1pm

Children ages 5-10 will take part in a 1998 version of the 1920s "Owego Kazoo Band," learning songs popular many years ago. They will play musical parlor games, just as children did long ago, and discover all the different musical instruments found in the collections of the TCHS. The workshop highlights the museum's new exhibition "Music and Music Makers." Cost is $2.50 per child for members, $5 for non-members of TCHS.
