Two new businesses - owned and operated by Apalachin residents - are opening on Route 434 in Apalachin.
THE CHURN DASH (above), owned by Jean Crowning shield, is a fabric/quilting
store specializing in quilting fabric, patterns, books, and classes. The
store is also an authorized Pfaff sewing machine dealer. The Churn Dash
is 2 1/2 miles west of Exit 66 on Route 434, in the former Guthrie Office
near Bud's Place. CHAT-A-WYLE (below) is a breakfast & lunch cafe which
was formally located in Endwell. Owner Pam Babucka would like everyone
to come in and enjoy themselves, to eat and chat a while. Chat-A-Wyle is
located in the old Fox Farm building on Route 434 near Tioga Terrace.
