Pre-School Story Hour

June 18, Thursday, 10:30 am The pre-school story hour will have its last gathering for the school year. Many thanks to the parents who shared such wonderful stories and activities with the children. Check at the library for special pre-school programs being held during the summer.

Apalachin Fireman's Field Days

June 3-6, Wednesday-Saturday

Stop by the library booth at the Apalachin Fireman's Field Days and stop by the library booth. Call or stop by the library if you want to help at the Field Days.

Summer Reading Program

Solving mysteries will be the plan at the Summer Reading Program. Along with a weekly story program for children entering grades 1-6, the library will also have reading challenges, weekly puzzles, and contests, and independent activities for anyone any time the library is open. There will be separate crimes and mysteries for grades 7 to adult and specially scheduled story times for pre-schoolers. Watch for a flyer at school or stop by for details.

The 2nd Annual Apalachin Library Ice Cream Social and Book Sale features music from the Owego-Apalachin Summer Music Program. Volunteers are still needed to help bake, serve, or set-up. Call the library to volunteer.
