OAMS Parent Advisory Committee
Know What's Going On In Your Schools - Get Involved!

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) for the Owego-Apalachin Middle School (OAMS) is currently in their fifth year. PAC is open to all parents/guardians of OAMS students and meets on the last Monday of the month through May.

The group's purpose is provide a forum for parents to:

share concerns and ask questions

become familiar with current policy, programs, and changes at OAMS

provide parent and administrative representatives on the School Improvement Committee with feedback as part of shared decision making.

The next meeting is on Monday, March 30, at 7:00 pm, in the cafeteria. There will be an informative and motivating presentation by OES Special Education Teacher, Mr. Pete Mecca, on "Discipline." All parents in the district are invited and encouraged to attend.

The last two meetings for the l997-98 school year will be April 27 and May 18.
