Guthrie Occupational Specialist Attends Conference

Health recently attended the National Symposium on Occupational and Environmental
Health Programs in Denver, Colorado. The conference presented the national
standards on mandatory compliance programs such as D.O.T., O.S.H.A, M.S.H.A.,
and other regulatory agencies. Spring, who is the senior marketing representative
for Guthrie Clinic's Section of Occupational Health, explains that this
annual symposium "serves to educate the health services marketing
sales professional, which provides a crucial link in keeping area businesses
better informed to as the rules and regulations"
Spring knows rules and regs from both sides of the aisle. Besides aiding business owners in her current position and with past service with OccuSystems (a national occupational health facility chain with 129 sites nationwide), she has also been on the business management end as well, dealing with the same occupational health issues she now helps her own clients with. Her experience in the Occupational Health industry has taken the form of many varied positions, ranging from corporate controller to contract services and compliance administrator.
In her current position at Guthrie Clinic, Spring is charged with marketing medical and health services to businesses in Guthrie's vast service area. According to Spring, her goal is to help businesses of all size by designing and promoting custom occupational and environmental medical surveillance, training and educational programs.
