A ribbon cutting ceremony for the unavailing of the newly renovated "Welcome To Historic Owego" sign at the south end of the Court St. Bridge on Route 434 was held on September 16. The sign originally designed and painted by Holly Fields was renovated by local artist Laura Kerr (4^th from left) of Newark Valley. Local resident Charlotte Bartow (6^th from left) and her husband, Edwin, generously financed the renovation project. The event was attended by local business and government officials.
