FATAL ACCIDENT ON ROUTE 17

August 6,1997 at about 7pm, a vehicle traveling east on Route 17 in the Town of Vestal went out of control and hit the right side of the overpass bridge. The driver and passenger were taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital, JohnsonCity. The driver is in critical condition, the passenger died of massave injuries. Both were from New York City.
