Owego Tourism Council

The Owego Tourism Council was formed a few months ago to provide an organizational and communication vehicle for the many diverse groups that make up the Owego Community. Members of the council are representatives from various local groups interested in promoting Owego tourism and development. The council provides an organizational structure that benefits merchants; historical, arts, and theater groups; and interested members of the community. The council will provide coordination with these groups and associated local government bodies to create a cohesive, effective approach to promoting tourism. A main objective for the council is to maximize the limited resources that are available.

For more information about the council, contact Pat Gause, Chairperson, 687-1243, or Ralph Warner, Public Relations Director, 625-3904.
