Girl Scouts Help the Community
Daisy Troop 45 "Bottle Drive"

Thinking about
starting some spring cleaning? When you come across all those cans and
bottles that have been accumulating why not donate them for a good cause.
Daisy Troop 45 is having a bottle drive to raise money to buy books
to donate to the Apalachin Library. The troop consists of 12 girls, ages
five and six, from the Owego-Apalachin area. They meet weekly to have fun
and learn ways to help their community. The bottle drive is their first
project of community
service through Girl Scouting. The girls have decorated "Daisy"
bottle boxes that can be found at Don Davis Meats, Sweeney's Market, and
the Apalachin Library. Your bottle and can donations would be greatly appreciated,
and all money will go to buy books for the library.
The drive will run the entire month of March.
