Trade and Business Show 1997 The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their annual Trade and Business Show on Wednesday, March 26, 1997, from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Treadway Inn in Owego. There will be exhibits, drawings for door prizes, giveaway items, food, and more. The show is open to the public and there is no admission charge.

Businesses Join Chamber

The Board of Directors and staff of the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the following as members of the chamber: First Choice Travel of Owego, Hometown Auto Center of Apalachin, Jackson's Farm of Campville, and Tioga Opportunities Program, Inc.

Business Counseling Available

The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce offers counseling for businesses on an ongoing basis. This counseling is done by two organizations at the chamber at 188 Front Street, Owego.

SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) representatives are at the chamber twice each month and SBDC (Small Business Development Center at Binghamton University) representatives are at the chamber one full day each month.

The confidential, one-on-one counseling is by appointment only and appointments may be made by calling the chamber at (607) 687-2020. The sessions are set up to benefit those who may be considering going into business or those who have been in business and who wish assistance with specific problems or situations.
