The AACA has lost one of its most dedicated members.
Francis (Frank) O. Brown, 79, lifelong resident of Campville, N.Y. died on September 6, 2003. Frank was a longtime member of the AACA. He was founder of the Tioga Region in Owego, N.Y. (the Southern Tier of N.Y. State) in 1984 and served as its president for several years. He was also a member of the Iroquois Region of Johnson City, N.Y.

Frank was an AACA senior judge with 72 credits. He faithfully attended the AACA national meetings in Philadelphia. Frank loved to vendor his parts at Fall Hershey. Frank's 1978 Ford LTD was designated "feature car" at Tioga Region's August 24th, 2003 show as part of Ford's 100th Anniversary. This was a proud moment for Frank.

Frank was very involved in his community. He served as a Tioga county legislator and Town of Owego  councilman. He also was a member of several community organizations including the American Legion, Owego Lions Club, Owego Elks Club, Tioga County Historical Society, Red Cross, Senior Citizens and department of aging. He served his church community in many ways.

Frank will be missed by his family, friends and all in AACA.
